Turkish-backed militia in North and East Syria ramp up preps for prospect attacks

Tell Tamer and Zirgan districts of Al-Hasakah (Hesekê) Canton have been exposed to nearly 600 attacks by the Turkish state in September.

The military mobility in the area by Turkish-backed militia in the area of North and East Syria increases, reports Hawar News Agency.

Footage shows that the Turkish state has strengthened military defences and dug trenches in the area in recent days, the news agency reported, and military sources confirmed that the Turkish state has increased its mobility.

Speaking to ANHA, Nowruz Rojhelat, the leader of the Tell Tamer Military Council revealed the Turkish army’s intentions to lead their forces into the direct warfare.

Rojhelat said that the forces of the Tell Tamer Military Council have a clear responsibility to defend the region and its people.

“The mercenaries of the occupation forces brought heavy weapons to the occupied areas and adjacent to our fronts. These operations are always launched in the evenings, jointly with the armed drones’ attacks,” said Rojhelat. She added that their forces are monitoring all these operations.

Rojhelat said that Tell Tamer Military Council is committed to ceasefire agreements, and that their fighters restrain themselves and use their right to legitimate self-defense.

Regarding the attacks of Turkish state on Kurdish-controlled zones of Syria, the writer and journalist, Thaer Al-Zazo, said the Syrian regime does not have the cabability to force Turkey withdraw from the occupied territories.

“I do not think that the Damascus regime has the capability to impose great conditions, as it is in dire need of breaking its international isolation first, and for this reason it is expected to agree to the continuation of Turkish control over those areas, and the Damascus regime will be keep on being present in these areas just symbolically,” said Al-Zazo.

Tell Tamer and Zirgan districts of Al-Hasakah (Hesekê) Canton are among the territories exposed to nearly 600 attacks by the Turkish state last month, reported ANHA.
