The SDF stated that their forces continue their relentless efforts in counter-terrorism operations.
The Special Units of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) conducted a security operation, dismantling an ISIS terrorist cell in al-Ozba town, in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor.
According to the statement by SDF Media Center, the operation was supported by air surveillance and ground support by the international coalition forces. “As a result, our units successfully apprehended one of the ISIS leaders who was involved in transporting explosive materials, weapons and ammunitions to the ISIS cells in the al-Hol camp and providing ISIS families with forged IDs. He was also linked to other terrorists “Emirs” in the Turkish-occupied Serekaniye (Ras al-Ain).”
The statement pointed out that: “With unwavering determination, our forces continue their relentless efforts in counter-terrorism operations. These operations are carried out in cooperation with the international coalition forces, aiming to fortify security and stability in the regions of NE Syria and ultimately eradicate ISIS terrorism.”
