The Commander in Chief of the Syrian Democratic Forces Mazloum Abdi congratulated the advent of the new year to everyone, and affirmed that building safety and peace, strengthening administrative and economic institutions, and holding elections are among their priorities in the new year.

This came through a tweet by the Commander in Chief of the Syrian Democratic Forces, Mazloum Abdi, in which he said:

"A year of challenges and crises faced the world, I extend to you at the beginning of the new year my best wishes for health, stability, safety and peace.

Building safety and peace, strengthening administrative and economic institutions, and holding elections are our priority in the new year.

Happy new year for our people, parents and martyrs' families."
