Friday morning, two ISIS members on a motorcycle attacked a car belonging to a member of the SDF military relations office in al-Busayrah, said the SDF Media Center.

“Fortunately, our comrade emerged unharmed. He bravely returned fire, killing one attacker and wounding the other.  Our forces secured the scene, recovering a machine gun and an explosive belt from the killed terrorist. ISIS terrorist cells exploit public places crowded with civilians to carry out their terrorist acts,” the SDF statement said.

SDF emphasized that: “Our forces remain vigilant in protecting the community and will relentlessly pursue these terrorists to ensure their complete eradication.”
