New military base at the outskirts of Ain Issa

Video taken on Monday obtained by ANHA's correspondent in the area show the Turkish military base close to the village of Saida, just some 2km to the north of the town of Ain Issa, barricaded by earthen berms.

The military base that was created by Turkish Occupation Forces on November 20th, 2020, is shown as having a control tower at the middle provided with  thermal surveillance cameras.

The new military base works as a new launcher for missiles that were rained on outskirts of the town of Ain Issa and the neighbouring populated villages on the strategic Aleppo – Hasaka International Highway known as the M4, in the last three weeks, that conduced to the martyrdom of four civilians, in addition to the injury of other 14 ones.

Turkish Occupation Forces try to fortify military positions in the occupied areas close to one of the most vital and strategic highways in Syria, the Aleppo – Hasaka International Highway known as the M4, by setting up at least 20 military bases in the occupied areas.

Lately, the town of Ain Issa underwent mutual bombardment operations between Syrian Democratic Forces, the SDF, and the Turkish Occupation Forces and the affiliated mercenaries, after failure by Turkey to take possession of the village of Saida and that of Mi'alagh, in addition to the Ain Issa Camp.
