The Headquarters Command of the People's Defense Forces (HSM) sent a congratulatory message to the guerrillas partaking in the resistance against Turkish invasion in the guerrilla-held Medya Defense Zones in southern Kurdistan (northern Iraq).

“When we look at the actions our forces carried out last week, we see that the guerrilla warfare of the new era has been skilfully adopted,” said the HSM Headquarters Command and listed some of the successful actions against Turkish occupation forces as follows:

- On May 31, village guards were warned and prevented with great perfection and precision, while only the occupying enemy forces were targeted and punished in the Besta region of Botan.

– On June 4, 2 invaders were assassinated at the Tingê outpost in the Şax (Çatak) district of Wan.

– On June 8 and 9, several invaders were killed following successful sniper actions in the Martyr Şahin and Karker Resistance Areas.

– On June 9, 4 invaders were killed and 5 others injured by YJA Star forces in Girê Ortê area in the Metîna region.

– On June 10, 4 Turkish soldiers were killed by targeted and assault tactics at Girê FM Resistance Area.

– On June 10 and 11, the invaders seeking to advance amidst a heavy bombardment of the Dola Şîvê area were stopped by guerrillas without suffering any casualties. 6 of them were killed and 1 drone was destroyed.

– On June 11, 5 invaders were killed and 2 others were injured in two separate successful sabotage actions in the Karker Resistance Area.

– On June 12, 13, 15 and 16, the occupying forces were punished as a result of successful assassination actions in the Karker Resistance Area.

– On June 13, 10 invaders were killed and 1 radar system was destroyed in coordinated infiltration and assassination actions in the Girê FM Resistance Area.

– On June 14, 5 invaders were killed in a coordinated guerrilla action in the Mervanos area of ​​Avaşîn. 2 thermal and 1 surveillance camera systems were destroyed.

– On 15 and 16 June, 57 invaders who attempted to advance in the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area were killed during a Revolutionary Revenge Operation which skilfully combined various actions with no casualties on the part of the guerillas.

As part of the Martyr Şervan-Şehîd Diljîn Egîdên Botanê, Bazên Zagrosê and Cenga Xabûrê, Martyr Savaş Maraş Revolutionary Campaigns, it is seen that our comrades are using all kinds of tactics during successful actions with great creativity at a high tempo. The fact that the enemy forces who set foot in Zap, Avaşîn and Metîna with the aim of occupation are constantly targeted and punished has proved the fact that it is not so easy to try to invade Kurdistan.

The morale of our people and their friends who endorse the guerrilla resistance is boosted by the successful actions of our comrades, who keep fighting heroically. In this sense, bringing to account the Turkish state, which has massacred the innocent children of the Kurdish people in Bamernê and Şengal, and taking revenge for our people, has shown once again that the guerrillas are the true defenders of the values ​​of Kurdistan and the Kurdish people.

We congratulate the mobile teams that carried out these actions, all the commanders and fighters who contributed to these actions, especially the comrades who have been fighting in the battle tunnels with great will for their attacking spirit, effective attack style and mastery in performing guerrilla tactics creatively.
