Gerîla TV published the footage of an action carried out by YJA Star guerrillas in Xakurkê on 16 October. Two Turkish soldiers were killed as a result of the action.

The HPG Press Contact Center shared the following information about the action: “On 16 October, at 14:30, the invaders who tried to take up positions between Girê Martyr Kamuran and Girê Martyr Heqî were targeted and shot by YJA Star guerrillas with heavy weapons. In this action, 2 soldiers were killed and 2 were injured.

The action was carried out in memory of Kurdistan Freedom Guerrillas Kadriye Tetik (Asya Kanîreş), Thomas Johann Spiess (Azad Şerger) and Diyako Saîdî (Koçer Medya), who fell as martyrs in Xakurkê on15 June 2023.”
