“Despite killings and repression, the DEM Party has managed to win in the Kurdish regions and strengthen its position nationally,” said Nikolaj Villumsen of the Red-Green Alliance Party (Enhedslisten) in Denmark.

The defeat of the AKP-MHP government in the 31 March local elections and the victory of the Kurdish people are on the agenda of the world.

“Despite intense repression by Erdoğan’s ruling apparatus, including the imprisonment of elected MPs and mayors, attacks, arrests and even killings, the DEM Party has managed to win in the Kurdish regions and strengthen its position nationally,” said Nikolaj Villumsen of the Red-Green Danish Union Party (Enhedslisten).

“There must be international consequences for the Erdogan regime”, Nikolaj Villumsen said about the military-police transport to  the polls in Kurdistan.
