The Belgian delegation visited the headquarters of the Executive Council of the Autonomous Administration in the Jazira region, as part of a series of tours in the regions of northeast Syria, confirming during their support  for ,"the democratic project and the autonomous administration of the peoples of the region."

The delegation continues its tours, where it visited today, Sunday, the headquarters of the Executive Council of the Autonomous Administration in the Jazirah region, Amuda, and the co-presidency of the Executive Council received a Nazira Gewriya, Talat Younis.

The visiting delegation included members of the Belgian Federal Parliament, Georges Dalmani, Quinn Mesto, Director of the International Association of Victims of Terrorism, Philippe Vanstetkiste, and CEO of Child Focus, Support and Prevention of Missing and Sexually Exploited Children, Heidi de Paoelo.

Regarding the discussions, the co-chair of the Executive Council, Nazira Gewria stated that they discussed the security, economic and service status of the region in northeast Syria in general and the Jazira region in particular.

 Nazira confirmed that the delegation expressed their support for the democratic project in the region and support for the Autonomous Administration, and that they will make every effort to help the region on the political and economic levels.

Nazira noted: "The delegation has been following the situation in the region since the establishment of the Autonomous Administration through their periodic visits. They are aware of developments in the region, and in constant contact with representatives of the region to discuss ways and the possibility of supporting the administration."
