Turkish attacks on Rojava continue
Northern Syria was again targeted by Turkish drones and artillery attacks. In Qamishlo, an armed drone attacked a building and a mosque was hit by artillery shells near Manbij.
On Wednesday and Thursday, Turkey again launched heavy attacks on northern Syria with drones and artillery fire.
Drone attack in Qamishlo
On Thursday, an armed Turkish drone attacked a building in Qamishlo with a missile. Property damage was caused to the building in the immediate vicinity of the Şehîd Delîl Sarûxan Cemetery. Vehicles in the vicinity were also damaged by the detonations and shrapnel. So far there is no information about possible casualties.
Artillery shells hit a mosque
According to the Manbij Military Council, Turkish artillery shells also hit a mosque in Al-Gat in the north-east of Manbij on Thursday. Heavy damage was reportedly caused to the place of worship due to the rocket fire. According to the Manbij Military Council, 445 shell impacts have been recorded in the surrounding villages in the past ten days. The artillery attacks are carried out from the bases in the Turkish occupied zone. On 6 June, there was a drone attack, four days after the Manbij Military Council was able to repel the infiltration of occupation forces into the village of Mihseli.
Artillery shelling of villages near Ain Issa
Turkish artillery targeted the village of Seyda north of Ain Issa and the Seqir service area on the M4 international highway on Wednesday. So far, nothing is known about damage and casualties. Dozens of Turkish shells fall on the region around Ain Issa almost daily.
