Far-right Turkish Grey Wolves threat to state security, says German intelligence
The German Intelligence Organisation (BfV) views the violent tendencies of far-right Turkish nationalist group "Grey Wolves" as a threat to democratic order in the country, reported Deutsche Welle.
The German Intelligence Organisation (BfV) views the violent tendencies of far-right Turkish nationalist group “Grey Wolves” as a threat to democratic order in the country, reported Deutsche Welle.

The document notes that the tendency of the group towards violence poses a threat to internal security and libertarian democratic order in Germany.
According to the BfV, the Grey Wolves are an ultra-nationalist, racist and antisemitic group.
“The ideological spectrum of the movement ranges from nationalist Kemalism to Islamists. The ideology includes exaggerated nationalist features as well as antisemitic and racist far-right elements,” the analysis read.
Stressing that the members of Grey Wolves see themselves as a “master race”, the intelligence agency underlined that they humiliate Armenians, Greeks, Jews, Kurds and others which are assumed to be “anti-Turkish”.
BfV also said that there are around 11,000 Grey Wolves members in Germany, and that while some of their views appear ostensibly moderate, the group spreads extremist views.
