Children wounded in Turkish shelling in northern Syria
Nine civilians, including six children, were wounded in shelling by the Turkish army in northern Syria, local North Press Agency reported on Thursday.

The youngest child wounded in the shelling in Til Rifaat town is six years old, while the eldest is 15. One of the children’s condition is critical, officials at the hospital told reporters.
An eye witness told reporters that the Turkish drone was targeting a military post, as well as the town market and school.
An internally displaced woman from Afrin had been killed in the 1 August shelling in the same Aleppo region town.
Turkey has increased the frequency of drone strikes and shelling in recent months, while already having conducted 42 strikes between June 2020 and July 2022. Since the beginning of this year, at least 27 people were killed in 38 Turkish attacks on northern Syria.
