Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria declares 8 March a national holiday
The Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria has declared International Women's Day 8 March a national holiday for all its official institutions and branches.
The Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES) released an official statement announcing 8 March, International Women’s Day to be a national holiday.
The Statement reads as follows “Article 1 of AANES Act of 8 March (08.03.2022), states that Women’s Day will be an official national holiday for all the branches and institutions of the AANES.”
