This morning, under the slogan “No to the rapprochement of the Turkish and Syrian regimes with the terrorists of Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham, a dialogue forum was launched with the presence of political figures and representatives of political parties.

Mazloum Abdi, joined the forum through the Zoom application, and referred to the objectives of the "Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham" mercenaries' control of Afrin canton, and the rapprochements of the Turkish occupation with the Damascus government.

Abdi said: "Four years have passed since the occupation of Afrin canton, during which events developed significantly in Syria, as represented by the occupation's attempt to establish its hegemony over those areas, but the resistance of the people of Afrin thwarted those plans".

He added, "In the recent period, after the rapprochement of the Syrian regime and the Turkish occupation, some mercenary groups saw that this policy does not serve them, so they went out against those rapprochements, so the occupation, through the "Hayat", wanted to give a lesson to these groups, a warning that there is an alternative for them".

He stressed, "The liberation of Afrin will thwart this conspiracy, and we must create all conditions, the most important of which are the political conditions to liberate Afrin from the Turkish occupier.

As for the military conditions, we have the forces to liberate all occupied areas, not just Afrin."

Regarding the Turkish occupation’s rapprochement with the Damascus government, Abdi said, “ The future of Syria is not rapprochement with Turkey, because the latter seeks to occupy Syrian lands as it did in the Iskenderun, so the future of Syria is the reconciliation of the Syrian government and the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria."

About the Turkish new attack on the region, Abdi said, "The Turkish occupation tried several months ago to launch a new aggression on the region, but the political situation changed, it did not get the green light, so it rushed to make concessions to the Syrian government, in order to arrange plans to weaken the Syrian Democratic Forces and the Autonomous Administration".

Abdi noted that all the forces on the ground know that the only solution to get out of the current crisis and liberate the regions is to establish a mechanism for the formula of the Autonomous Administration project in Syria".
