Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla kills 11 Turkish soldiers
Eleven Turkish soldiers were killed in the actions carried out by the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla.
The HPG Press Center issued a statement to say that “the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla, which is on the way to victory against the invasion operation of the colonial Turkish state, continues to inflict heavy blows on the invaders by fighting under the most difficult conditions. Despite the invading Turkish army attacking with unlimited technology and dirty war methods, the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla continues its resistance.
As a result of the actions carried out by our forces 11 invaders were killed, 2 MPT - 55 infantry rifles, 2 thermal binoculars, 1 radar system and 1 lantern were seized, one Toyota type military vehicle and one position were destroyed. The invading Turkish army bombed the Resistance Areas 6 times with tactical nuclear bombs and chemical weapons, 31 times with attack helicopters, 8 times with warplanes, and dozens of times with howitzers, mortars and heavy weapons.”
The details of the actions and attacks carried out are as follows:
Within the framework of the Bazên Zagrosê Revolutionary Campaign, in the Xakurke region:
On 23 August, the convoy of the invading Turkish army, which was going from the Lêlkan area of Xakurke towards the Kevortê area, was hit by our mobile teams. While 4 invaders were killed in this action, one Toyota type vehicle was destroyed.
On 28 August, at 11.30am, the invaders in the Girê Martyr Derwêş area of Xakurkê were hit with heavy weapons by our mobile teams.
On 28 August, at 2pm, the occupying positions in the Girê Martyr Şahan area of Xakurke were hit with heavy weapons. In this action, while 3 invaders were killed, one position was destroyed.
In the Zap region as part of the Bazên Zagrosê Revolutionary Campaign:
On 27 August, the invaders who wanted to enter the Martyr Arjin war tunnels were hit by our YJA Star moving teams at 10am. Two soldiers were killed in this action, while our forces seized 2 MPT - 55 infantry rifles, 2 thermal binoculars, 1 radar system and 1 lantern.
This action was carried out by our YJA Star forces in memory of our comrades Doğan, Karker and Rojda, the valiant sons of the Kurdish people who fought selflessly against the invaders and became martyrs.
On 28 August, at 8.30am, the invaders who wanted to advance towards the Martyr Lewend battle positions in the Saca Resistance Area were hit with heavy weapons by our mobile teams.
On 28 August, at 3.30, the invaders in the Çemço Resistance Area were hit with heavy weapons.
On 28 August at 6.30, the invaders who wanted to advance towards the battle positions in the Çemço Resistance Area were hit by our mobile teams. One soldier was killed.
Within the framework of the Cenga Xabûre Martyr War Maraş Revolutionary Campaign:
On 28 August, at 9am, 10.20am and 11.15am, the invaders who wanted to advance towards the battle positions in the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area were hit three times.
On 28 August, at 10.15pm, the invaders in the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area were shot by our mobile team’ sniper, and one invader was killed.
In Avaşîn region:
On 28 August, between 9am and 12pm, the invading Turkish army wanted to send the dogs into the war tunnels in the Werxelê Resistance Area, which they could not enter for months. However, they failed and had to retreat.
On 28 August, the invading Turkish army tried to demolish the battle positions and tunnels in the Werxelê Resistance Areas with scoops and crushing buckets.
Attacks carried out by the invading Turkish army with tactical nuclear bombs and chemical weapons:
On 28 August, the battle positions in Girê Cûdî, Şikefta Birîndara and Saca Resistance Areas were bombed 6 times with tactical nuclear bombs and chemical weapons.
On 28 August, battle positions in the Şikefta Birîndara Resistance Area were bombed with explosive-laden drones.
Attacks carried out by the invading Turkish army with howitzers, mortars, heavy weapons, helicopters and warplanes:
Girê Amediye, Çemço and Saca Resistance Areas were bombed 31 times by attack helicopters on 27 and 28 August.
On 28 August, drone activity was observed in Girê Cûdî, Girê FM and Martyr Adil Resistance Areas.
Martyr Adil and Sîda Resistance Areas were bombed 8 times by warplanes on 28 August.
On 28 August, Girê Cûdî, Girê FM, Çemço, Sîda and Martyr Adil Resistance Areas were bombed dozens of times with howitzers, mortars and heavy weapons.”
